Hi, I’m Kaity!

I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression since before I can remember. Mental health disorders are rampant in my family tree, and I used to believe there was no way around this genetic destiny. I have battled for years with anxiety and panic attacks, disordered eating, low self esteem, and depression. For much of my life, I felt like I was going crazy. I was a victim to my own emotions and thoughts. It wasn't until I had my first "in-my-body" experience through yoga and meditation that I realized my brain, and therefore my entire life, could change.

As I started to heal my mind and body, I dedicated my life's path to helping others do the same. This online program merges age old healing practices with modern neuroscience to bring you back into touch with yourself, your beautiful body, and the earth. What is the daily time commitment?
I've designed this course to be conscious and respectful of your time. I understand that you have a busy and full life, and want to make this program as simple as possible for you to integrate and apply. However, with this program you truly get what you put in. To see amazing results, I recommend you carve out around 45 minutes/day for these practices. If that's not possible for you, just do the best you can to practice consistently.
How quickly will I see results?
This program is not a quick fix yet has the potential to create lasting, powerful change. While many of these practices have the capacity to create immediate change in the nervous system, body, and mind, most of them will take time to become effective. And, the more consistently you do the work, the more effective your results will become. Everybody is unique, and results can take a little longer or shorter depending on what your mind/body/spirit need.
I'm a beginner in yoga and meditation. Is this course right for me?
Absolutely. We welcome all experience levels. This program is gentle and self-paced, with tons of opportunity to customize the practices to your personal needs.
I have PTSD. Is this program a safe choice for me?
This program is trauma-safe, yet I recommend talking with your doctor or counsellor first to be sure it is something your nervous system is ready for. This program has the potential to very very helpful in recovering from PTSD for individuals who feel resourced and ready to reconnect with their bodies and with a meditation practice. This program is very complimentary to mental health counseling.
Will this program help me come off my mental health medications?
The practices in this program have been known to give a lot of relief to those who suffer from anxiety, depression, and other forms of mental illness or imbalance. Some individuals feel the urge to adjust or come off of their medications because they experience profound relief. However, I do not recommend coming off or adjusting your medications without first connecting with your doctor and creating a game plan together. There are many factors that go into mental illness, and it is unsafe to adjust medication on your own. Talk with your doctor or psychiatrist to make the best informed decision for your health. Remember, there is nothing wrong with being on medicine when it truly helps you function and feel good.
Will this help my digestion?
Absolutely! Stress and anxiety and huge factors to digestive upset. This will not only help your digestion, but other stress related illnesses as well.
What materials will I need?
We recommend having a yoga mat, journal, meditation cushion or pillow, sand bag (or bag of rice), and two tennis balls in a sock (or massage balls). If you're unable to access those materials, you can make do with what you have at home. These materials are suggested, but not required.
